North Side Recruiting ("we," "us") is a recruiting agency based in Chicago, Illinois. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We've tried to write it the way we'd want to read it.
What we collect
Job seekers. When you apply to a role or submit your resume for general consideration, we collect your name, email address, phone number, your resume file, and anything you include in a cover note or areas-of-interest field.
Employers. When you submit an inquiry, we collect your name, company, work email, phone number, and the details of the roles you want to fill.
Everyone. When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email, and message. Like most websites, our hosting providers also log basic technical data (such as IP addresses) to operate and secure the service.
How we use it
- To match job seekers with open roles and contact you about opportunities
- To respond to employer inquiries and run searches you engage us for

- To operate, secure, and improve this website
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your resume with any employer without speaking with you first.
Where it lives
Submissions are stored with our infrastructure providers: Supabase (database and resume file storage) and Vercel (website hosting). Resume files are kept in a private storage area that is not publicly accessible; only the North Side team can retrieve them, through authenticated, time-limited links. Email notifications about new submissions are delivered via Resend.
How long we keep it
We keep candidate information while we're actively working with you and for a reasonable period afterward so we can reach out when new roles fit. Employer inquiries and contact messages are kept as ordinary business records.
Your choices
Email us at Rob@northsiderecruiting.com to:
- Ask what information we hold about you
- Correct or update your information
- Ask us to delete your resume and personal information
We'll act on deletion requests promptly and confirm when it's done.
Cookies
The public site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. The admin area uses strictly necessary cookies to keep North Side staff signed in.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted prominently on the site.
