About the role
A leading global law firm is hiring a mid-level transactional Real Estate Associate for its New York or Chicago office. You'll represent developers, owners, private and institutional investors, corporates, lenders and underwriters on domestic and international real estate transactions and financings, working directly with a partner.
What you'll do
- Draft and negotiate term sheets and purchase agreements
- Run due diligence and coordinate transaction timelines
- Represent borrowers, lenders and servicers on real estate financings
- Support day-to-day client management
- Coach and develop junior lawyers
Compensation & benefits
- Base salary $310,000 to $390,000 per year, based on class year, plus performance bonus eligibility

Requirements
What you'll bring
- 3 to 5 years of transactional real estate experience
- Hands-on work on acquisitions, dispositions and real estate financings
- Strong drafting, negotiation and organizational skills
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Active bar admission in good standing
