About the role
A top-tier firm is hiring a mid-level Real Estate Associate for its Chicago office to support a high-volume commercial real estate practice. The work spans acquisitions, dispositions, and borrower-side financings, including representing institutional equity investors and private equity real estate funds across every phase of the investment cycle, plus sophisticated lending transactions. This is a hybrid role.
What you'll do
- Handle commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions
- Work on borrower-side financings and sophisticated lending transactions
- Represent institutional equity investors and private equity real estate funds across the investment cycle
- Support a high-volume practice with real ownership of your matters
Compensation & benefits
- Base salary $235,000–$365,000 per year (roughly 3rd to 4th-year base), depending on class year and job-related factors
Requirements
What you'll bring
- 3 to 4 years of commercial real estate experience, including acquisitions, dispositions, and borrower-side financings (JD 2022 to 2023)
- Strong transactional drafting and negotiation skills
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Admission to, and good standing with, the Illinois Bar
