Job description
Join the U.S. Projects & Infrastructure team, part of the finance department, at a leading international law firm. This is a mid-level to senior associate seat, open in any of the firm's U.S. offices.
What you'll do
- Work on tax equity and project finance transactions
- Support project development, including construction and EPC contracts
- Draft and negotiate offtake agreements
- Handle sophisticated transactional matters with strong academic and technical rigor
Compensation
$260,000 to $390,000 base depending on experience, plus an annual bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision, life and AD&D, a 401(k), and back-up child and elder care.
Location
Hybrid, based in any of the firm's U.S. offices.
Requirements
- 3 to 6 years of experience (JD class of 2020 to 2023)
- Big-firm (AmLaw 100 or top international) transactional training and strong academics
- Project finance or renewables experience is not required; corporate finance and banking backgrounds (leveraged and acquisition finance, corporate lending, credit facilities, private credit, asset finance) are welcome
- Bar admission in the chosen office's jurisdiction
