About the role
A national law firm is seeking an Insurance Coverage Associate for its Chicago office. You'll work across coverage opinion letters, pleadings, motions, and discovery in coverage litigation, and advise clients on a range of coverage matters. This is a hybrid role.
What you'll do
- Draft coverage opinion letters and analyze policy language
- Prepare pleadings, motions, and discovery in coverage litigation
- Advise clients across a range of insurance coverage matters
- Support cases through all phases, from early assessment to resolution
Compensation & benefits
- Base salary $100,000–$140,000 per year, depending on experience and job-related factors
Requirements
What you'll bring
- 2+ years of coverage litigation experience
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Admission to, and good standing with, the Illinois Bar
