About the role
A growing estate planning boutique in Libertyville, Illinois is hiring an Estate Planning Attorney to run its Illinois client work. The firm serves families and business owners across Lake County and the North Shore, has grown quickly on a very high service standard, and is building a concierge model where clients work with a dedicated attorney.
What you'll do
- Own client matters from the first meeting through signing, trust funding and updates
- Prepare wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney and healthcare directives
- Handle trust funding plus some trust administration and probate
- Support the firm's growing base of business-owner clients
- Help build document automation and AI into the practice
Compensation & benefits
- Base salary plus an origination bonus on business you bring in
- No book of business required
- Full-time, in office in Libertyville, IL
Requirements
What you'll bring
- At least 3 years of estate planning experience
- Active Illinois bar admission in good standing
- A patient, polished client manner and strong follow-through
- Comfort with Clio, modern drafting software and document automation
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
