About the role
Our client, a full-service California law firm with an extensive real estate practice, is seeking a Real Estate Associate to join its team firmwide. You'll handle sophisticated commercial real estate transactions across the full range of transactional matters for a broad client base — public entities, corporate clients, private developers, property owners, and nonprofits.

An established, full-service firm whose real estate practice covers acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and public-private partnership work for emerging and established clients. It's a collaborative, team-oriented environment with a reasonable billable-hours requirement.
What you'll do
- Handle sophisticated commercial real estate transactions — acquisitions, dispositions, purchase and sale agreements, leasing, title, and financing matters
- Draft and negotiate PSAs, commercial leases, statutory development agreements, disposition and development agreements, reimbursement agreements, and other complex real estate documents
- Advise public agencies, private developers, corporate clients, property owners, and nonprofits, including on public-private partnership deals
- Independently manage multiple transactions in a team-oriented environment
Compensation & benefits
- Base salary $190,000–$225,000 (depending on years of practice and experience), plus annual performance-based bonuses
- Discretionary and billable-hours bonuses

- Hybrid work arrangement with a reasonable billable-hours requirement
Requirements
What you'll bring
- 6+ years of relevant commercial real estate transactional experience
- A track record drafting and negotiating PSAs, commercial leases, development and disposition agreements, and other complex real estate documents
- Experience advising public agencies, private developers, corporate clients, property owners, and nonprofits
- Ability to independently manage multiple transactions in a team-oriented environment
- Admission to the State Bar of California
