Our client, a global law firm consistently ranked among the top firms on the Am Law Global 100, has an opening for an Associate in its Land Use practice in Denver. You'll work with clients across a range of industries — energy, aerospace, mining, hospitality, and outdoor recreation — on real estate development and land use matters throughout the development process.

A global firm with a presence in some of the most active real estate markets in the U.S. Its Land Use attorneys collectively have decades of experience advising landowners, developers, joint-venture partners, and entrepreneurs — from due diligence and site assemblage through subdivisions, zoning entitlements, building permits, and certificates of occupancy.
What you'll do
- Advise on land use, zoning, real estate development, and related regulatory matters
- Navigate entitlement and permitting processes, including interaction with municipal and governmental authorities
- Draft land use applications, development agreements, zoning analyses, and related materials
- Manage and prioritize a diverse workload with exceptional attention to detail
Compensation & benefits
- Expected base pay $210,000–$250,000 per year (adjusted for experience, location, and other job-related factors)
- Discretionary bonus eligibility

Requirements
What you'll bring
- 2–5 years of experience in land use, zoning, real estate development, or related regulatory matters
- Experience with entitlement and permitting processes, including interaction with municipal and governmental authorities
- Experience drafting land use applications, development agreements, and zoning analyses (preferred)
- Familiarity with Colorado land use laws and local regulatory frameworks (a plus)
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and administrative skills, with exceptional attention to detail
- Admission to the Colorado Bar, or eligibility for prompt admission
